The rod at the bottom of the photo is a 949 that has been in use for two years.

Fly rods are tested in the harsh conditions of the natural environment, so a considerable amount of trial and error is required.

Unfortunately, I’ｍ experiencing significant delays in shipping REC Recoil Guides, so it will be a while before I can test them.

The 939 was manufactured using the conventional guide.

Still, I trust REC parts. I think they are the world's best fishing tackle parts manufacturer in terms of precision.
