I am worried about the heatwave in Europe. It is likely due to the effects of climate change.

Beautiful mathematics is born from a beautiful heart.

Beautiful casting feel comes from a beautiful flow of force.

I aim to create a rod that delivers a lighter, smoother casting feel—though achieving that balance is extremely challenging.

To create is to live.

No creativity, No life.

Testing the 939.

I'm thinking of building the 918 in the autumn.

A supple and comfortable bamboo fishing rod will soothe the angler's heart.

Continuous improvement

You can consider yourself fully competent once you are able to fish at a relaxed pace.

The effort put into building this site amounts to only about 3% of the effort I’ve poured into crafting bamboo rods.

The younger a person is, the more they try to force things through with sheer power.

In reality, however, true strength lies in maturity and sensitivity.

Due to the circumstances outlined below, I’m currently accepting orders for models 8 feet or shorter. I do not have stock on hand; production begins only after an order is placed.

I do accept orders from overseas; however, due to the current situation in Japan, it has become extremely difficult to procure aluminum cases for models exceeding 8 feet in length.

I used to feel intimidated by English, but that feeling is gone now. I can read and write it, but I cannot speak it fluently.

Drawing on my past and various life experiences, my dream for the future is to sell products overseas.

Before I even created this site, people would sometimes strike up conversations with me at fishing spots, and a small number of my rods were sold within Japan—something I was very happy about.

However, as you can tell from the fact that I use English on this site, I have my sights set on the overseas market.

Being able to recreate and produce something means understanding the numerical values that constitute its essence.

765 7'6" #5 built five years ago.

I extend my deepest gratitude to those who appreciate the rods I have created.

That serves as the greatest encouragement for my creative work and brings me joy.

If you're getting bored of not being able to go fishing, please visit this site.

It will take some time, but I would like to write more detailed information about the design intent behind each model of my rods.

The water was clean.

If you haven't yet found a bamboo rod that you can use as a tool, please consider the bamboo rods I make.

Bamboo Rod offers a feel that simply cannot be replicated with graphite or glass rods.

No matter what obstacles I face in the future, I've made up my mind to continue making bamboo rods.

Watercolor design by Yuto Owaki

Bamboo rods are made from natural materials, so they are very in tune with the rhythms of the human body.

As long as good fishing spots continue to disappear, people's passion for fishing will likely diminish as well.

Next year, I plan to dedicate myself to making rods specifically for dry fly fishing.

The 744 has become a fun #4 rod.

The rod bends smoothly from tip to butt, allowing for smooth line casting, and you won't feel any anxiety even when a fish is hooked.

Testing of the 939 is going very well. Even after 8 hours of continuous long-distance casting a day, there are no issues with its strength. And even after years of doing so, the rod remains in good condition.

These are snap peas from my garden. I boiled them and ate them. They were sweet and delicious.

Crops grown naturally often have blemishes, scratches, and insect damage. That's the natural state of vegetables.

The problem of climate change appears to be more serious than imagined.

I can't purely enjoy fishing right now.

Those who know contentment are rich both inside and out.

I'm still working on improving the tapered design.

The theme for 2026 is subtraction.
